SIMCommander Response

SIMCommander integrates with a Security Operations Knowledgebase so that security personnel have the most up-to-date information to streamline and automate the research process and understanding of the wide range of attacks. When a correlated event has been identified, security staff can launch the knowledgebase with just a simple click. The knowledgebase contains the event details, vulnerable information, recommended solution and links to global research centers such as CVE, SecurityFocus, etc. This also enables non-skilled operators to learn and response incidents efficiently and effectively.

SIMCommander Security Operation Procedures (SOP) provides security analysts and professionals the guidelines and procedures to follow through the whole process to solve security incident. Security professionals can add and update the SOP to meet the corporate security policy and unique network environment.

SIMCommander provides a policy-based Alert Response module. The Alert Response Policy supports simple logic flow and unattended event escalation that can automatically notify you when an incident has occurred or over pre-defined threshold by Email, SNMP traps, Helpdesk integration (Remedy and HP Open View), SIMCommander Incident Management Module, Pager/SMS and Sounds.
